Education, Schmeducation, what about us?

I dont have kids-never had any, I'm not planning to go to community college or a university anytime soon-anyway, if I did want to go to school,I would need to do distance learning, because I HAVE A FULL TIME JOB -got to pay those taxes!

Why do I care about class size or various shit they cry/lie about in Sacramento?
I know my hard earned tax money is being spent on teachers who I never have had need for now or have needed past high school in the 70's.

I know the "revenues" they grab from my paycheck are going toward pensions for people that I have never utilized for services -sort of like paying for cable service and you don't own a tv.

Does this not occur to the fossilized governor and his gang of goonies? and for every one of me, there are thousands of others in the same boat...

D-bags like Darrell Stinkbug and the the unions just dont care-as long as they get their agenda.
There is a reason they don't get the crap they ask for-THEY'RE WRONG, THEY'RE FULL OF SHIT and THEY ARE CRIMINALS. You pick.

I'm already paying alot of taxes and Im not kickin about paying taxes-but comeon, the politicians keep asking for more and more from my paycheck, pretty soon I'll be giving the whole damn check to them... and they'll still want more.

The "cuts" they keep bitchin about, arent really cuts-its just that they now have to buy something and actually use it a few times before throwing it out - and they dont want to do that because they are spoiled children.

This article ,which, BTW makes you want stick a pin in your eye, I read, says taxpayers in California are responsible for the needs of themselves and 1 other unknown public worker, nice. Wish I could take this public worker that Im supporting, off as a dependant on my taxes at the end of the year.

They got nobody to blame but John and Ken - wow

Seriously, this is what it has come down to.  John and Ken, hosts of KFI radio's daytime show in L.A. are making politicians put up or shut up by - gasp - holding them responsible to the taxpayers for pro-tax moves.  Apparently they've irked the republicans who can't seem to get right what it is their party stands for.  We're talking about the fools who are going to jump across the aisle to support Jerry Brown's $60 billion tax increase (works out to about $5,000 per family!) and a bunch of Cali articles came out slamming the duo.  CalWatchDog has a nice piece that discusses the issue.  What we're finding is that all higher ups were thinking John and Ken were simplistic right-wing shock jocks with no fortitude, credibility or social reform know-how, and they have proven those dumbshits wrong time and time again.

John and Ken are pissing people off with their logic and the truth hurts, sometimes.  There are a lot of issues I've personally disagreed over time, but more often then not, they really are working for the greater good and helping make aware by their keen ability to read-between-the-lines.

Will assemblyman Katcho Achadjian, Sen. Tom Harmon, Assemblyman Paul Cook, Sen. Bob Huff, Sen. Sam Blakeslee, Sen. Anthony Cannella, Sen. Tom Berryhill, Sen. Bill Emmerson,  Assemblyman Bill Berryhill and Assemblywoman Kristin Olsen sign a no-tax pledge to avoid having their skulls pierced by sharp-ended mallets?

John and Ken are smart and they don't care if you are a dumb lefty, or dumb repub., they care about emitting their version of the truth and when it comes to their political pontifications, they are spot-on most of the time.

Yeah, there are alternatives, JK don't OWN the airwaves entirely (they do in the daytime here in L.A.), there are guys like Chris Reed.  Check out Chris Reed's show on a.m. 600 KOGO on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and listen live here, or take a view of this video he did in late 2010.  It's great to have these guys running their mouths on the airwaves because otherwise we'd be left with all the political banter and legal bullshit that can be difficult to decipher and impossible to spread in such an effective, sprawling manner.
